Dr. Michael Moon is a second generation dentist who grew up in Peoria. He graduated from Creighton University with a degree in economics in 1990. Dr. Moon went on to the University of Illinois at Chicago for his dental degree, graduating in 1994. He returned home in 1995, working for the Peoria County Heath Department treating children, transitioning into private practice, and coming to Washington in 2002.
Dr. Moon has been married to his wife Harriet since 2000, and is the proud father to Molly, born in 2002. They have 2 dogs, Sully and Beatrice. In his spare time, Dr. Moon enjoys cooking, hunting and medicore golf.
Dr. Moon is the past president of the Peoria District Dental Society, and is a member in the American Dental Association and the Illinois State Dental Association.

Linda
Office Manager
I enjoy assisting our patients to get the best treatment possible. I have been the office manager with
this practice since 1989, and I have been in dentistry for over 45 years, starting as a dental assistant in
Peoria. I am fortunate to have co-workers who are dedicated to the profession of dentistry. Washington
is my hometown, and I raised my family here. I have served in many capacities of the dental field,
including teaching Dental Assisting at ICC, OSF Dental General Residency Program, Dental Assisting Co-
Lead for Illinois Mission of Mercy since 2010, previous Executive Director for Peoria District Dental
Society, and now I currently serve as the Executive Director for McLean County Dental Society. Dentistry
is a large part of my life, but I still find time to be active with my church, spend time with my three sons,
my daughter in laws and my granddaughter, ride my bicycle, and am an avid runner (two marathons,
twenty half marathons, several relay races, the area’s toughest 15K Steamboat race, along with many 5K
and 10Ks.) I love it when patients stop in my office to visit and catch up!

Dental Hygienist
I graduated from the Illinois Central College Dental Hygiene Program in May of 2017. After previously going to school and receiving my Bachelor's degree from Illinois State University in Human Resource Management and also Organizational Leadership, I am thankful to have found a career I am truly excited about and enjoy. I live in the area and enjoy doing pretty much anything outdoors. Watercolor painting, nature photography, and taking care of all my animals and plants are some of my other favorite things to do. Since 2017 I’ve been happy to be part of such a great team here at Moon Family Dental and look forward to continuing to care for all of your smiles.

Dental Hygienist
I graduated the dental hygiene program from Illinois Central College in 2003. I got married to my
husband Troy in 2008. We have two children, Clayton is 12 years old and Kaylee in 6 1/5 years old. I
enjoy spending time with my family, watching my kids sporting events, doing craft projects and baking. I
am blessed to be part of this amazing team. I look forward to getting to know my patients and making
them feel comfortable while getting great dental care.

Dental Assistant
I graduated MTI as a certified dental assistant in 2012. I am married to my husband, Brian who is a
Peoria firefighter and I have two kids and two step kids, Braden, Belle, Camden, and Avery. I am a
southern girl originally from North Carolina, but I’ve been in Illinois for over 20 years and have really
grown to love the people here. I am blessed to be a part of the Moon family here in Washington. My
favorite thing about my job is meeting new people and taking care of our patients and making them feel
comfortable. When I’m not at work, I love cooking, spending time with my family and friends, playing
with our puppy dog Cash and doing CrossFit. I’m excited to get to know each of y’all.

Faith's smiling face will be the first thing you will see when walking into our office! Faith lives in Henry with her husband, Christian and their Boxer, Penelope. Faith enjoys traveling and spending time with her family from Ohio in her spare time.

"I would like thank my staff for the time and effort they spent by surprising me with a celebration of my 15 year anniversary at Moon Family Dental. My office manager, Linda, arranged to have the Washington Chamber of Commerce come out to help us commemorate the occasion. I would like to thank the rest of the staff, Amanda, Jessica, Jill, Karen, and Sara for making a wonderful lunch for us today. These first class staff members are the key to our success.
